Very early sweet cherry BURLAT

Burlat is a very early dessert sweet cherry valued for large, shiny, dark red berries and an early harvest.

Fruit

• Size: large, often 26-28 mm and about 10 g.
• Colour: bright red to dark red and shiny.
• Taste: sweet, dessert-like and juicy.
• Flesh: moderately firm.

Ripening and harvest

Very early, often from mid-June depending on the region and year.

Pollination

Not self-pollinating. A compatible sweet cherry pollinator flowering at the same time is needed. Vega, Lapins and Rivan may be suitable pollinators.

Suitable for fresh eating, desserts and processing. Crops abundantly every year, and the trees are resistant to disease and frost. The product is a two-year-old seedling, about 150-170 cm tall.
