Plum-Peach Hybrid 'KUBAN'

Plum-peach hybrid 'Kuban' is a self-fertile, very productive variety distinguished by large, oval fruits weighing 50–100 g. Their skin is smooth, thin and orange-red, becoming bright red with a purple tint when ripe. The flesh is light yellow, juicy, firm, sweet-and-sour and aromatic, and separates easily from the stone.

This variety is fairly frost-resistant and moderately resistant to diseases. The fruits ripen in late July to early August, and the tree bears abundantly every year. With its distinctive flavour and appearance, 'Kuban' is an excellent choice for fans of dessert plums.
