Autumn Pear 'BONKRETO WILLIAMS'
Autumn pear 'Bonkreto Williams' is one of the best-known and most widely grown pear varieties in the world, valued for its aromatic, juicy and delicious fruit.
Fruit
The fruits are medium-sized to large, with a classic pear shape. The skin is green at first, turning yellow or greenish-yellow as it ripens, sometimes with a light orange or brown tint. The flesh is white, very juicy and sweet, melts in the mouth and is intensely aromatic.
Ripening and fruiting
The fruit is usually picked in early September while still slightly underripe and finishes ripening indoors. The variety bears abundantly and regularly, so it is considered one of the most reliable dessert pears.
Uses
'Bonkreto Williams' pears are excellent for:
