Winter pear CONCORDE

Winter pear variety. The fruit is picked at the end of September or beginning of October and eaten from November to January. The fruit is attractive, tasty and transportable, large or very large (200-300 g), bottle-shaped. The skin is green at picking, yellow-green at eating maturity and flushed in the sun. The flesh is yellowish-white, almost melting, juicy, sweet-and-sour and lightly aromatic, with almost no grit. The trees begin fruiting early, in the fourth or fifth year, and crop abundantly, with some alternate bearing. They are small-growing, healthy and produce high-quality disease-resistant fruit. Suitable for an organic garden.
