Winter apple tree TOPAZ

Topaz is a modern winter apple variety valued for excellent taste, long storage and high disease resistance. The tree begins fruiting 2-3 years after planting and crops regularly and abundantly. Apples are picked in early October and reach eating maturity after several weeks. When stored in a cool place, they keep until February or March without losing flavour or juiciness.

Fruit: medium-sized to large and round, with yellow-green skin covered by a bright red striped or marbled blush. The flesh is firm, very juicy and crisp, with a pronounced sweet-and-sour taste. Excellent fresh, for desserts and juice.

Tree: medium-sized, forming a fairly compact crown. Not self-pollinating; suitable pollinators include Auksis, Lobo and Ligol. Highly resistant to scab, making it suitable for lower-input growing and family gardens.

Why choose Topaz? Tasty, long-storing winter apples, a reliable harvest and fewer concerns about disease.
