Early Plum 'DIANA'

Plum 'Diana' is a dessert variety that is very productive and early-ripening, valued for its large, sweet fruit and reliable cropping. The tree has moderate vigour and begins bearing quickly, making it suitable for both small gardens and larger plantings.

The fruits are large, round-oval and dark blue with a rich waxy bloom. The flesh is yellowish, juicy and very sweet, and separates easily from the stone. Pick them in early August; they are suitable for eating fresh and for jams, compotes or baking.

The variety is fairly resistant to frost and the main plum diseases, and bears abundantly every year.

Advantages:

• Very large, sweet and aromatic fruit

• Early fruiting (early August)
