Summer Pear 'ALFA'

SUMMER PEAR 'ALFA' - AN EARLY, PRODUCTIVE LITHUANIAN VARIETY

Pear 'Alfa' is one of the earliest summer pear varieties, developed in Lithuania. It stands out for its abundant crop, excellent flavour and frost resistance, making it well suited to our climate.

✅ Fruit: medium-sized, yellow with a rosy cheek, very juicy and sweet. The flesh is white, melts in the mouth and has a pleasant aroma.
✅ Fruiting: a very early variety; the first fruit ripens in late July to early August.
✅ Hardiness: resistant to diseases and reasonably frost-hardy, so it is suitable for growing in various regions of Lithuania.
✅ Growth: a moderately vigorous tree with a broad, sturdy crown.
✅ Pollinators: crops best near other summer or autumn pears.

Because of its early fruiting and excellent flavour, pear 'Alfa' is an excellent choice both for a home garden and for commercial planting.
